CLICK HERE for the Eon website that "tells us all about it" Copy of an email sent to friends of mine who are "other sea users". From: Katherine Ratcliffe [mailto:kat@naturalpr.biz] As part of our ongoing engagement process, we want to form several Project Liaison Groups with key stakeholders in the Sussex community, so that we can have a formal two-way communications process, sharing information about the project and receiving feedback on its progress through the development phase and, if consent is awarded, onwards into construction and operation. With input from the local authorities, we have identified a group of stakeholder organisations who are likely to have an interest in our project and who are well-networked, with useful local knowledge and expertise, which could help us to evolve this project in the best way for the local community and environment. We would like to invite you to join our inaugural Sea User Project Liaison Group with a small number of other key people with this interest, so that we can share information about the project with you and seek your views. The group will not be a decision making body, but one where we can keep you up to date and ask you to disseminate this information to your organisations and peers in the community and then to feed back to the group at subsequent meetings the views you gather and form. We are limited on space and want to make the meeting representative and manageable, so are restricting this invitation to one person per organisation. Our meetings will be chaired by an independent chairperson, with a formal minute taker, to ensure that all those who attend are given the opportunity to have their say and we will be seeking your input on the group’s terms of reference, as this is intended to be a mutually beneficial process. Our first meeting will be informal, providing you with an update on the project and an opportunity to agree terms of reference and how we wish to work as a group. Our meeting agenda is attached. After the first meeting, should you choose to come to the next scheduled meetings, we will be seeking your formal feedback to contribute to our engagement and community consultation process. Please join us for our first informal engagement event to establish the group at: 6pm-8pm on Thursday 17th November 2011 at E.ON’s Brighton Office, 4th Floor, 20 New Road, Brighton, BN1 1UF. Light refreshments will be provided. Please also find attached information about how to access the office by car or public transport. We would appreciate it if you confirm if you can or can’t attend to kat@naturalpr.biz. If you would like to contribute but cannot attend this event, please let us know so that we can keep in touch with you. To keep informed, please see our website: www.eon-uk.com/rampion. I very much look forward to meeting you and listening to your views. Yours sincerely, Chris Tomlinson Development Manager, Rampion Offshore Wind Farm E.ON Climate & Renewables Attachments: Agenda ...
