This is the first leg of Brighton Belle's return voyage from the Canaries to British waters. Madeira lies some 300M north of Tenerife, and we have the choice of either making a direct run (2 or 3 days at open sea, depending on conditions), or to hop NE via the Canaries to Lanzarote and make our approach from there. Either way we will be left a few days to explore the Madeira archipelago and the port of Funchal.
